Recently I’ve been thinking a lot about turning our teeny tiny bedroom into a craft room. The hardest thing is coming up with ideas. Where to start? The internet, of course. Just had a quick image search to get some inspiration and thought I’d share my favourites!
Hey all! I have some odds and end of stock that don’t really go together in a nice group to sell on Folksy, so I thought I’d advertise them on here 🙂
First up, I have just two of these lovely little coptic bound notebooks with paisley covers and purple binding. They’re filled with durable sketchbook paper and are ideal for slipping in your bag or pocket. £4 each and £1 for postage:
They’re roughly half the size of A5.
Please email me if you’re interested: ahoythere@thecraftfantastic.co.uk
More to follow soon!
Handmade A6 notebooks, sewn with sturdy thick waxed thread, purple to compliment the cover paper. Insides are a lovely thick sketchbook paper, perfect for writing or drawing.
Only two made with this design, both can be found in Made In Northamptonshire.
More designs to follow, back up for sale on Folksy soon! Alternatively you can email me for custom orders ahoythere@thecraftfantastic.co.uk
Right about now is the time you may want to think about panicking if you haven’t yet bought all your Christmas presents. It’s 2 weeks to Christmas! Just 2 weeks! Quick! Get the things! Order the stuff!
Whatever stress you may or may not be feeling about finishing your Christmas shopping, rest assured there’s still some time. And if you don’t relish the thought of fighting your way through crowded high streets and shops, but you still want to feel like you’ve taken the time to seek out a unique gift, then have no fear: the internet will save you.
While under normal circumstances I don’t condone buying gifts online instead of supporting wonderful local and independent shops, there are several fantastic and well-established websites that specialise in peddling the homemade, hand crafted wares of creative individuals. Here are my favourites:
So there you go- now you’ve no excuse! Handmade gifts all round! Happy shopping 🙂
It’s official- mini notebook necklaces are a hit! They very nearly sold out at last Sunday’s Christmas craft fair at Delapre abbey. Here they are all tucked up waiting for their new owners:
We had a new frame made for this event to hang the origami mobiles on, which also went down a treat:
The event itself was fantastic- the volunteers did an amazing job, the place looked great and it was so busy. We even got a visit from Santa!
All in all a brilliant day- really hope we get asked back again next year.
Just listed another lot of handmade mini notebook necklaces on Folksy:
Here at The Craft Fantastic, we’re delighted that we’ve been invited to have a stall at this year’s Christmas Craft Fair at Delapre Abbey, Northampton. It’s a beautiful venue and I’ve heard great things about past fairs.
The event runs from 10am – 4pm on Sunday 24th November, 2013. Past years have seen between 2000 and 3000 visitors so it promises to be a really great event!
We’ll be there with our fantastic range of handmade Christmas gifts, including:
Hope you can make it!
Finally got round to putting stuff up on Folksy! Hurrah.
So, mini notebook necklaces, A5 Coptic stitch notebooks/sketch pads/journals and the first of the Christmas stock – festive origami gift tags – now up for sale.
