What’s new with you?
I’ve been working on some more journals, made in a (slightly) new style; they’re something I tested out last year and I love how they turned out!
Made using the same technique as my map journals with leather spines, these journals have more of a night-time fantasy feel, featuring moons and stars in deep and dusky blues.
The leather used on the spine has a slight shimmer, and the stitching matches in with the design. Metal corner protectors finish off the look.
But my favourite thing? I’ve made simple copper or brass clasps, attached to matching chains, to fasten the journals. What do you think?
These are currently available in my Etsy shop, in A5 and A6 (plus a couple of similar style A7 cuties).
